Career Outcomes

M.S. Global Health students emerge from our program with the necessary skills for positions in global health and development in areas such as health financing, managing health systems and health policy with a of goal of enhancing the health status of the world’s underserved populations.

We report on career outcomes 6 months post graduation; our current report includes data spanning from 2022-2025 to share a more accurate picture of our most recent graduates’ pathways following the program.

94% of our graduates find employment or continued their education within 6 months of graduation. Students have entered a variety of sectors including Health (22%), Consulting (20%), Higher Education (19%), Government (12%), Non-Government Organizations (10%), International Government Organizations (7%), Continuing Education (7%), Other (3%).
Our students attribute the experience they receive from our 14-Week Abroad Field Study to their ability to apply classroom curriculum to the real-world obstacles facing the health world today from a global perspective. Examples of job titles our alumni took on post-graduation include: Policy Analyst, Global Health Officer, Monitoring & Evaluation Lead, Research Associate, Health Financing Analyst, etc.
