Health Economics and Outcomes Research Track
The Health Economics and Outcomes Research Track is designed in response to widespread interest in health economics training and research to integrate health economics with epidemiological outcomes. Across a range of disciplines—including global health, pharmaceutical industry, health security, public health emergencies, medical technology, international law, demography, and global development—there is a growing demand for professionals trained in health economics and comparative outcome research.
In an increasingly interconnected world, scarce resources must be used efficiently and effectively where financing cost-effective interventions is essential. Investing in health and addressing priority health concerns are essential not only for poorer nations, but also for ensuring global economic stability, growth, and security.
